Friday page 3
Erick Avari
Erick was just fantastic, he was warm and funny, intelligent and honest. Being that he was in the original movie and the series he had lots more stories to tell us that we haven't heard before. That was the best part for me, hearing about the movie. I told him I was a fan of the movie and asked him if he would say "bunyway" for us. He granted my wish perfectly, and said it just like he did in the movie, that just made my day. If he was asked the B or B question I know he didn't show us and can't remember if he answered it or not. After the first time I asked Alexis to read the Heiroglyphics on the walls, other people started asking others to read them too, so then that became one of the standard questions for the con. Some of their answers were pretty funny.

Erick had a great smile and really paid attention to the questions. There weren't many lulls in questions and he filled up time nicely with stories from the sets. He's done so many things in such a short period of time it's incredible. He's also played an incredible amount of nationalities, something like 13. I could have spent all day listening to him.

He did tend to walk around alot which is nice to see, I like to see the guests get into it and not just sit there like a lump on a chair, blandly answering questions. He's very animated and gave us great visual scenes from the movie. Like when he had to try to walk with his long hat and robes trailing behind him in the sand. And the horse stories were fantastic, funny as hell, had me rolling on the floor.

I was so glad he came, he was on the not sure list and I didn't even know he was considering it. When I found out he was there I jumped for joy, another movie actor, that made my day and I enjoyed seeing him very much.

Robin's pics, amazing the color difference huh?

I love this pic, we had been talking and joking around, he's a funny guy.
The foot
