Thursday September 3rd
I've got some Hotel news!!
I've got a block of 4 rooms reserved and a few people have gotten rooms already so it's coming together. The manager, Dennis, is giving us a rate of $99 a night for 2 people in a room. Parking is $15 a day. Please contact me if you need a room or you can contact the hotel and use my name, Kim Fox, as a reference for the room discount. Feel free to check out the hotel's site and see what they have to offer. Links and info below.
I do know they have free internet access, cable TV, free local calls, kitchenettes, full bathrooms, smoking and non-smoking rooms and adjoining rooms. There's a coffee shop and a 7-11 right next door. Unfortunately there's no AC in the rooms but there are fans and heaters. I doubt we'd need AC mid September but the windows do open for some fresh air. They don't have suites or many amenities but there is a Tropical Garden and a patio to hang out at with wireless internet access. The people are very nice and it is open 24 hours a day although the door is locked at night for security there's always someone there to let you in.

Saturday August 1st
I've sent out an invitation to everyone on my Facebook page and posted info on Dan Payne's Yahoo list and the Legendary Gathering Yahoo list. There is also a database on Dan's list to sign up for the event if you're not on Facebook. Invitations have gone out to many of our favorite Scifi actors and I will post updates as I get confirmations, remember that all appearances are 'work permitting'.
