More Nassau...
This was very cool, a kind of Mayan temple thing that's actually a bunch of water slides. It is surrounded by water and there's sharks in the water too, more nurse sharks from what I could tell. I think I fit in with the jungle theme pretty well.
That's the backside of the temple, you can race on the two slides, it times you then you compare times to see who wins. Obviously the guy on the right won this match. This was a cool kids pool with seahorse fountain, the water was warm and it was very tranquil, mostly cause there were no kids in it. The last pic is a flying fish fountain, everything was so neat, I wished I had brought my video camera.
This is inside the hotel, we were up on the main floor and you go down to this restaurant that has a great view of the aquarium. I think they were setting up for dinner when we came by. The middle pic is looking straight down from our balcony onto this cool fountain. It was a good 50 feet down or so, there were 2 huge pillars on either side of the restaurant entrance with water pouring out onto a ball which spun from the force of the water hitting it. The balls were about 10 feet across, that gives you some idea of the size of this thing, it was incredible.
This is at the front of the hotel. There were limos and taxis all lined up at the entrance, we took a limo/taxi from here back to the city to get a bite to eat with the guy's friends they knew that still lived there. That was the first time I'd ever been in a limo, it was cool, even if it was being used as a taxi. I loved this Pegasus fountain out front too, I caught it at sunset, beautiful!!!
This is our formal night at dinner, we all got dressed up and had dinner then had our photos taken by the ships photographer. Ok, the scanner wasn't working right when I scanned these pics so they look weird, it squashed me down for some reason and made the others very light, I have no idea what's up with it, but you get the idea anyway, right? We looked good. That's me, Enid, Anna and Kate.
Ok, my scanner sucks ass!!!!!!!!! Anna sent me this great picture and for some reason I just can't get the colors right. I thought it was a great shot of us at dinner.
Here's the group shot we got, only a few people weren't there. I didn't buy it but Kate let me scan hers so I could put it on my site, thanks Kate!!! Don signed it for her, what a guy!! I'm way up at the top next to Jeana.
