The last day. These pictures of Don with Anna and I are from the autograph session, I'll tell you about that later. Don did a talk about music that morning with everyone and I came in about 3/4 the way through. After that he had to go and rehearse for the talent show which he was singing in, but I missed cause I was out sunning and stuff.
I was out in the hot tub by the pool when I saw Don come out to the bar for a soda. I asked him how it went and he told me how wonderful it was and I was sad I missed it. He had come out to watch the sunset up on the top deck. I had brought my camera for that same reason so we decided to watch it together. This was the sunset we watched unfold. It wasn't the most spectacular one in the world, but it was beautiful, and with Don there to enjoy it with, it was the best time of my life.
We stood and talked for over 2 hours and truly enjoyed each other's company. He is an incredible man, and I cherish the time he spent with me. We watched the sunset like it was the first one we'd ever seen, and we saw the first star of the night come out and the moon, almost full, how it shined on the water, just magical!!!
After our incredible adventure, Don had to go to get ready for the next event, his autograph session. I had to get ready too, we had spent so long talking that we lost track of time and only had half an hour to get ready. I was last to get an autograph cause I figured I already had his autograph from the other cons so I'd let other people that didn't have it at all get them first. He ended up being late to dinner because of all the stuff people brought to be signed and of course he had to talk to everyone and have a good time too so it went long. No biggie, the food will always be there, we only had that last chance to be with him so he stayed for us. He ate dinner with us and then we all separated after that to pack and do our own thing. I decided to go to the midnight buffet where he'd be eating with us for the last time. I ran into a bunch of the girls waiting at a lounge by the restaurant, so we hung out and chatted until it was time to go in. I am wearing 2 different pairs of sunglasses that were found by one of the chairs near us. There was no one with them so we snagged them and played with them, they were cool, all sparkly and stuff, with purple and pink lenses. I took the pink pair and one of the other girls took the other pair.
The buffet, food, food, everywhere food. Yes, that's my dessert, Jell-O, very cool Jell-O. I loved the dragon ice sculpture they had that night, it was fantastic!!! You can see his head with jaws open and his wings out behind him, he had a long curving body that went down the length of the table, simply incredible.
Then when I thought it was time to go to bed I was walking back to my room and someone yelled my name from above. It was Dan, he was with a group of other people that weren't done partying yet. So, I went up to hang out with them for a while longer, we had fun, ate pizza, played ping pong and generally laughed alot.
A few people even got paddled for misbehaving, the paddler wished to be anonymous. Yeah we were drinking, yes, we had fun, and no one was hurt in the making of this website. :) Anna and Don cuddling for a picture.
Oh yeah, I wanted a nice picture with Don and at some point during the evening he stopped by to take this shot with me. Nikita and Walter, well, close!!!
Here's some of the stuff I got, my con shirt and lei, and the 3 sarongs I got on the beach in Nassau. The middle one is the big one, the other 2 are the short ones.
This is what I came home to, can you say, "I want to go back now!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
