Thursday

I was the first one up today and ate my breakfast out on the balcony. Then while I was sitting there I heard this guy pointing and yelling at stuff out in the water. Then I heard him tell his kids there were flying fish out in the water. So, I started watching and I saw them too. Tried to get pictures, yeah right, oh well, I tried. They were so cool, they'd come flying out of the water singly or in schools and go a long way before they'd fall back in the water. Then mom joined me and we talked and ate and watched for fish.

Here's more views of the boat from our balcony, back and front. Then, we saw the coolest thing ever. A huge fish or shark or something. It had to be at least 5 feet long, it was bright neon blue with a yellow or white stripe on it's back. It looked like a very large fish, didn't have shark fins, but it was right at the top of the water, maybe it was chasing the flying fish, I don't know, but it was the coolest thing I've ever seen.

After breakfast, when everyone woke up and showered and stuff it was time for lunch. So we headed up and got lunch at the buffet. After that I wanted to get pics of the ship so we all split up and did our own thing for a while. This is the atrium, the elevators the piano and the cool light at the top. The guy playing the steel drum was great. He had a synthesizer that did backup and drums and stuff to what he was playing.

The elevators, and a cool picture on the ship. A Christmas tree, still didn't feel like Christmas though.

I walked all the decks and got pics of everything just about. That guy was very good, I'd have liked to hang out and listen to him, but after I got done with my pics in the area he was done and left. the shopping was here as well as the pursers desk and tour desk. There were lounges on each floor too so you could always grab a drink and hang out anywhere you wanted.

Now this was a very interesting picture. Have no idea what it is, but it's very neat. I looked at it for a while trying to figure it out and still have no idea if it's supposed to be anything. All the decorations did look nice though.

One of the bigger lounges had an Egyptian theme. Then there was the Italian restaurant with it's theme. The Explorers Lounge was surrounded by these animal pictures, had a very jungle like feeling.

Then lastly was the Desert Rose Mexican restaurant, that's Cathedral rock from Sedona.
