This dolphin statue was cool, reminded me of a drawing I did in high school. Rod at diner, this was a formal night again. That's the head waiter behind Rod, he was a great guy. He went to great lengths to make sure we had all the food we wanted and had whatever we wanted. He totally went above and beyond the call of duty. He deserves a raise.
Our formal pics. SMILE!!! I haven't worn this dress in a while, figured I'd pull it out of the closet for this special occasion. Put on a fake tattoo, a Japanese character that meant love.
Rod made me do it, but it turned out ok. This is where our dinning room was. The manger set up was in the Italian restaurant, I think they were made out of dough and cooked hard. Very unique. Like the lion in the background too, cool fountain.
We saw this set up for the professional pictures was still up so we took advantage of it and had someone take our picture. You can see my tattoo better here, we just needed better lighting.
The Explorer's Lounge, was Egyptian and African decor.
That night they did a special thing. They piled up a bunch of champagne glasses and then poured champagne on top of it fountain style to fill them up. It was a big to do, fortunately we came near the end and watched as it was done and then they handed out streamers to everyone. We were on the top level so when it was time we all threw our streamers and they started the music and dancing in the center, did all the line dances and stuff like that. It was fun but the champagne wasn't that good. The first pic is a friend, he has the video camera. We met him and his sister in the nightclub.
Another photo opportunity. You could wait in line and pour champagne on it and get your picture taken. It was pretty and stuff, but I wasn't waiting in line for that. Just about every picture they took of me was bad.
