Mom got this sunrise before we got up, gorgeous.

We took tenders to the island and met mom there. She had gotten a nice spot by the food and was eating lunch when we found her. The ship, it 's just so big, hard to believe it floats.

The island, pretty as all the rest. Palm trees, white sand, clear blue water, the familiar clouds passing above threatening us all day with rain.

There was lots to do there as usual. Water sports, bars, lounge chairs everywhere and lookouts. The food was ok, but not the greatest. I liked this bush, the flowers smelled incredible, Rod picked me one.

And from my walk along the beach.

This is as far as I went. I turned back and met up with mom and Rod again. See, earlier I was laying out in the sun and Rod and mom went snorkeling. I got up to get some pictures and maybe more food when I walked into a large rock in the sand. It hurt bad, I didn't want to look down, but had to. My toe was all messed up. The coral rock had ripped a large chunk of skin off my toe and it was all stuck up and filled with sand and bleeding, bad. I limped to my lounge chair which was thankfully close by and stopped a waiter passing by and asked where first aid was. What I wanted was an ambulance. He looked at my toe and knew I needed help. He was very nice and helped me to the walkway and led me to the first aid station where he left me in their capable hands. The guy there was impressed with my cut and told me he had to clean it and then he'd bandage it up for me. He said it would hurt and he'd give me some pain pills if I wanted. It was throbbing and painful already, I told him to go for it. He wiped off the sand with sterile bandages and saline fluid. And although it hurt incredibly bad when he scraped the sand across my wounded flesh, I clenched my teeth, dug my nails into the chair, and said OW alot, I did pretty good, no tears, I was impressed with myself. It bled alot and he said he was sorry alot. What else could he do. I took the ibuprofen and he bandaged it up good. I couldn't go in the water anymore so I was mad cause I wanted to go snorkeling again. Back at the chairs again, I put on my beach shoes to protect my toe and laid out to get some more sun. After a while I got up to get the pictures I wanted. I figured if I couldn't go in the water I'd at least get my pictures of it. So, I took off down the beach, ran into the guys, told them about my toe and limped off in search of good shots.

Mom got these shots of our stuff and made us pose while we were talking about what to do next.

I went out to the water and climbed out on the rocks a bit and found these fish. Whooooo Hoooooo! I was so happy. It's the little things for me that make me happy and I was just glad to have seen some kind of fish life. Then as I stood there trying to get a good picture, a larger fish swam up on a wave and tried to catch the small fish for dinner. It was cool, scared me though, they're so fast and I wasn't expecting it to happen. I seem to always have a fish story don't I.

Little minnows. In the last pic is a larger long thin fish in the center of the school. He looks like a shadow about 2 inches long, running horizontal in the picture above the small roundish reddish rock in the center of the pic. He just stayed there in the middle of the school teasing them, they kept their distance from him and he didn't seem to be chasing them alot, just annoying them. I watched for a while then went on my way.

When I got back to the chairs again, I found rod making a zen sand garden. It turned out great. I studied it for a while and chilled out trying to forget how much my foot hurt.

Rod took my mind off my foot by making me pose for pictures. He has a way about him, it always works.

The sign, gotta get the sign. With and without the hat??? Like my shoes, it's the only thing I could wear that didn't hurt.

This is my favorite photo. Good job Rod!!!
