Mom and I checked out of the hotel but left our luggage there and went to the beach and got some pics before heading out shopping. I got that crocheted top at the luau last night. The beach was hoping that day, it was warm and sunny, with a light breeze blowing, just perfect. Waikiki beach is a fun place to hang out and party, there were lots of younger people there.

We went to the local mall on one of the many shuttles that run around the island. I couldn't believe my luck when we found a Diesel store. If you're not familiar with them they do alot of very cool designer clothes, but I was excited because they used alot of their clothes in my favorite TV show "La Femme Nikita". I even own a shirt used in the series that's a Diesel. I had to buy something, so I got this very cool red long sleeved shirt. It's like a racing shirt, or a surfer shirt, with lots of cool writing on it and waves up both the sleeves, and the logo on the back looks like Harley Davidson wings, that was weird cause right next door was.........

A Harley Davidson store. I got a bumper sticker from there but that's it. It was the coolest store as you can tell by the pictures. There were real bikes sticking out of the store front and they had real whole bikes in the store as displays and it was just really cool. You have to see it if you ever find yourself wanting to go to a mall in Oahu. I think it was the Ala Moana Mall.

Before we decided to go to the ship we stopped by the Planet Hollywood and mom bought me this extremely cool leather jacket. Thanks so much mom, I love it. Finally, after shopping we picked up the luggage and got a limo taxi to take us to the ship. For some reason limos are big business on the islands. There's so many limos in fact that I actually saw a SUV limo, a PT Cruiser limo, and believe it or not, a Hummer limo. I kid you not, it blew my mind. They had the super stretch limos that stretched for like a block, I half expected to see the one with a Jacuzzi in the back somewhere too. Mom and I just enjoyed ourselves, it was hot and we were kickin' back in style.

Here's the ship's picture of us boarding. It was about 6pm, it sailed at 8pm.

So, here we are, finally made it onto the boat. We got on later than we wanted to but made it on just fine. Got our boarding picture and even got our luggage pretty quick too. We had the romance suite in the very back of the boat on deck 10. Mom got it cause of the extras that it came with it. We had champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, appetizers, a coffee and tea pot and a bar and refrigerator. A queen size bed and dining table, small loveseat and chair, TV and desk, large walk through closet and lots of drawer space. A full bathtub and shower with a nice size makeup area too.

Our bed, the colors and design of the room was somewhat odd but it was cool none the less. Our balcony was pretty big, we had two nice lounges and a table. The bathroom sink and mom's reflection.

Mom and I at dinner that night. We ate at the Hawaiian restaurant and had a great waiter, very friendly and good service. Our leis were starting to die so we figured we'd better get some use out of them while we could. We took a few pictures of the ship after dinner, the ceiling was all stained glass and was truly beautiful. The real tropical flowers around the room and wonderful paintings really added to the atmosphere. If we hadn't already been on the islands a few days I would have felt like my Hawaiian vacation had truly started just by getting on the ship.

This was the grand atrium, our restaurant was on the top floor. It was cool the way all the restaurants had this wonderful view. They had live Hawaiian music during dinner on the stage above the coffee bar. It was a really beautiful ship, she's pretty new too, just came out last fall I believe. The last pic is this cool fountain that would come to life every few minutes. Water would bubble up and colored lights would change the water to pretty hues and then it would go down again. Not amazing, but a nice detail that I enjoyed. It's the little things with me.
