That's mom, camera in hand, exploring the reefs. There were so many fish at times I just watched and enjoyed them.

There were lots of yellow fish and they showed up great too. That's Saddle Wrasse with them.

The yellow ones are Raccoon Butterfly fish. Not sure about the others, might be a Convict Tang with the stripes.

More Needle fish, a large school came swimming by. I like the way you can see the sun rays coming through the water in the middle one. Lastly a different kind of Butterfly fish.

The coral was pretty cool too, lots of different kinds and very colorful too, too bad the color doesn't come out as good in pictures. We saw so many fish but they were all too far away to get good pictures of so here's a list of others we saw, Sergeant Majors, Puffers, Tangs, Blue Parrot Fish, Pennant Fish, White Spotted Damsel Fish, different kinds of Wrasse, Butterfly and so many more. Next up is the hot spring pool. The whole thing is a mix of fresh and salt water, the breaker stops all the waves from crashing in like they do on the rocks out side it.

They were getting big and as I stood out on the wall getting video I actually got splashed once so I figured I'd better get back. There were signs that it was a dangerous area and I believe them. It was most tranquil and extremely beautiful, I could stay there a few days.

That's me in the water, I didn't want to leave. Mom got this shot before we got back on board.

Back on the ship we got some lunch and did some exploring. I found the Karaoke bar and the Blue Lagoon Cafe.

This is the spa, it had a small pool and 2 hot tubs along with all the other amenities like the sauna and steam room. The front was just gorgeous with the water fountain and flowers.

Then I discovered the Polynesian guys doing tattoos on everyone, free, so I had to do it. It's one of the things I was hoping they'd do. This was the first set of Polynesian tattoos I got done. The 3 guys were great, I had fun letting each one decide what to do, I just told them where I wanted it. This was the best guy, a fantastic artist. Nice and really hot too!!! I really had alot of fun getting them and I got lots of wonderful compliments on them too, great job guys!!! The guys were also dancers in the Polynesian dancing show and the women taught palm frond weaving and stuff.

As we left mom got some pics of the tallest mountain on the island.

I made quite the impression that day. It was formal night and I decided to get the pro pics from the ship done. They turned out great, I was really happy I got nice pics for once. I had lots of people ask about them and from then on I was known as the tattoo girl around the ship. I get around. They even kept the photos I didn't want up in the gallery to show everyone so I figured that's how so many people knew me. Right above the sign for Formal Night was my picture, similar to the one on the right, full length but with a lei on. I could only get so many pictures so I chose these 3 and left 3 behind.

That night for dinner we went to the Bistro, it was one of the things we got free with the suite so we figured why not go to the nice restaurant on formal night. It was good food just took way too long. The service was good and polite and friendly just not quite fast enough for our appetites. After our hard day of snorkeling and walking and swimming and riding around we had worked up quite a hunger. Lunch was long gone and I was ready for food!!! I have to say it was a beautiful intimate surrounding and the lights were low, almost too low, the music soft and the decor just right. If we didn't have to pay for it we would have eaten there more often.
I have to say it was nice however to have lots of choices to eat at. Is that a sentence? Anyway, we enjoyed finding places to eat and trying new stuff. I would just warn people to ask for assistance if they have a special diet or are vegetarians where they should eat. I still had a heck of a time finding the vegetarian food. Once I did though it was good, but still the regular menus offer enough for someone like me to eat just fine. Only one night there wasn't anything for me to eat in the main dining room. I still made due and they made me something special.
