I found some lizards on my travels too. Had to get pics of those. This is the same one.

Then I saw another one, they were all over the rocks in this one area by the outer edge of the beach. It was on the other side of the cove where the big waves crash in. I stood there a long time and enjoyed the view and the peace and quiet. I sat on the rocks and let the waves crash up on me, it was very tranquil.

It seemed a bit man made, this rock wall that was built up, there were signs that said it was dangerous and stuff, but only if you went a long way out in the water. The currents were strong and you'd get swept away quickly if you weren't careful. The waves where I was weren't bad, they got worse as you rounded the corner more out to sea. The little inlet was so perfect, protected and just right for spending a day doing nothing.

That's Robert, a crewman I met there on the island. He's 2nd in charge of the food and beverage service on the boat, a very important guy. He had asked me how the food was and I told him it was good, then he told me who he was and I was glad I said it was good. Then, while I was waiting for the tender I met him again and another woman crew member and we stood and talked and took pictures and stuff, it was fun. They're all so nice. That's our ship, the Norwegian Star.

Ok, see, mom went back to the boat at about 2 and I stayed till the end. I was on the tender back to the ship and got this pic of myself, not too bad huh? That thing sticking out of my head is behind me, but it looks like it's my hair or something, anyway, it was a self portrait what'd'ya expect. As we pulled up next to the boat I saw this cool painting above where it says the name of the boat, I tried to get a good pic but it's kind of far away. It's like a party scene and very colorful, you had to be there. Then after I got back to the room I met up with mom and we went to lunch. We got dressed up in our matching Hilo Hattie dresses and headed to the dinning room. When we saw these pictures we had to stop and get some funny pictures. I'm trying to be like the carving, silly, I know.

Mom liked this picture. It's very cool, very colorful.

Here's the full piece of artwork. They had something different in each stairwell on each level. Mom and I had fun taking pictures of as many as we could. In the dinning room we were trying to get a shot of the window design and me, with the light coming in from behind I came out very dark of course but it still works.

Mom and I in our matching dresses, we had seen so many other people do that so we figured it wouldn't be weird if we did it. I also had on my necklaces I got at HH too.

Here's a great shot the ship's photographers got of us at dinner that night. After dinner we saw the second performance of the Polynesian dancers. This was more the Hawaiian Hula stuff. I got a pic with the guys, the two standing are brothers.

I got a nice shot of mom with the girls. We certainly fit in with the whole Hawaiian theme. Then mom caught them kidding around.
