Saturday 9th

First, mom and I went shopping at Hilo Hatties that whole day until an hour before we had to leave for the luau. It's like the main totally Hawaiian store for the islands. The largest store and factory is on Oahu so we went there. We got lots of dresses, souvenirs and other goodies for the trip. You'll see all of the dresses we got during the cruise, I'll point them out.

Me before we went in. We finally got out real fresh flower leis and were escorted in line to get our photos with the cute guy for women and pretty girl for the guys. That was the pic on the first page. It turned out really dark from them and it got darker when I scanned it, computers can only do so much. Anyway, it was a very cool place, it was huge, and completely authentic. The beach behind it was beautiful and they had torches lit all over, it made for great pictures.

We had the deluxe package so we got to sit right up front by the stage on the right side. The guy with the torch was the guy in our picture, he had a real tattoo of the islands across his back, very sexy!! They also had more birds to get pictures with, we passed this opportunity up though.

They had lots of stuff to buy and stuff to do like making leis and hats, throwing spears, and learning to hula. I got a fake tattoo drawn on my arm by the cute guy from our picture, he's a talented guy. Unfortunately it got smudged from someone walking into me so I tried to fix it. It was very cool, I'd have those all over my body.

We watched the sunset and then it was time for dinner. We had a fun table and lots of drinks, we were having fun. The food was incredible, the pork was the best I've ever had in my life and I don't usually eat pork. If I ever go back, I'm doing the luau again.

The entertainment was incredible, fantastic, talented, WOW!!!!! There were so many different kinds of dances, they gave us the whole history of the islands, it was very educating. The costumes were the best, gorgeous. And well, the dancers, what can I say, true Polynesian beauties and seriously hunky island boys.

Wish we had gotten better pics of the guys, I got great video though, too bad you can't see it. Hehehehe! Anyway, it was a great show and Luau, I would recommend it to anyone visiting the island.
