Martinique
We were going on the Con Tiki Party Cruise Tour, sounded like fun, but unfortunately, it rained. There was some clearing, but we got rained on alot. So, being the fun people we are, we still found ways to have fun.

Coming in to the island it was cloudy, but still kind of warm. I love the look of the islands, with their big colorful resorts, palm trees, shops and restaurants, beaches, and laid back lifestyle.

On our tour it was just overcast for a while, got a few pics before it rained. Love the water!!! Cool cave.

Found out we were going to check it out after I took the last pic, so as we got closer they told us it's a bat cave. Way cool. Ok, so look real close at the inside of the cave, there's brown bumps all along the walls, more on the left side. We pulled the boat up close to the entrance and they blew the horn, the bats all freaked out and started flying around. Then it rained. So, those weird blotches that are all blurry and stuff are bats flying around.

Then we moved on to other beaches along the coast. The left one had white sand, the right one has black sand.

Our boat, the Calypso, it was fun, had a serious party attitude. They served us rum punch all day and had music going, of course there was other drinks and food too. This was a nice beach they dropped us off at, it wasn't sunny but not raining at first. We shopped and had lunch.

Found these very pretty flowers outside a store. When the boat called us back it was raining, so everyone ran back to the boat trying not to get wet, it was funny, we were all wearing swim suits, and were all already wet from earlier rain and stuff, so I just think people are funny about rain. Mom and I were the last ones on. When we arrived everyone clapped, I guess they were glad we made it, it was a long walk back from where we were. We were soaked to the bone but didn't care. On the way back they played games and had contests and tried to make it as fun as possible since it was raining. They cranked up the music and we danced. Back on the ship it dried out. The whole coast was lit up as we left, very pretty, and there were lots of little party boat cruisin' around, that seemed fun.

It was a nice sunset, and Martinique is a very mountainous island, which makes for nice pictures.
On to St. Maarten/St. Martin.....
