Sedona, Arizona
We were there in the beginning of June 2000. This was my 2nd trip there.

Flying over the Grand Canyon.

Going up to see the Kachina woman.

That spire sticking up is the Kachina woman, one of the many famous rock formations. It's a bit of a hike to get up there, and once there you can hike all over the place.

The lizard I found when we stopped for a rest and water. Can you tell I'm really freakin' hot. "Do I have to go on???" It was over 100 degrees that day, at least that's what the thermometer said on the car we had rented. Holy cow!!
Mom always wears her big hat to shade her from the sun, I was glad I remembered my hat. I've burned the top of my head so much it's scary. I couldn't make it all the way up but got close. I got up higher than I'd ever been before, found a great place to meditate too. It was incredible the feelings I had up there, it was very tranquil and I felt in tune with nature.
I always get lots of scenery pics, love desert plants.
